Support The HEART Hub Research Lab
Donations are an important source of funding for the UC HEART Hub Research Lab. Gifts help support our community-engaged research and educational outreach.
We envision a future where all women—regardless of race, socioeconomic status, or geographic location—have access to high-quality, compassionate, and person-centered healthcare. By investing in researchers who center women's experiences and voices, we strive to transform policies, practices, and perceptions to ensure health equity and justice for every woman.
We are a coalition of dedicated community advocates, public health professionals, registered dietitians, and researchers
Our research is community-based, focusing on improving the health and well-being of women.
The Women’s Health Equity Symposium is a convening bringing together leaders across research, policy, healthcare, philanthropy, and community-based work to address the urgent and persistent disparities in women’s health—particularly for women and other historically marginalized populations. Through dynamic keynotes, interactive workshops, and cross-sector panels, the symposium fosters collaboration and innovation aimed at advancing health equity at local, state, and national levels.
Women’s health is at a critical juncture. Persistent inequities in care, underrepresentation in research, and systemic barriers continue to contribute to preventable health crises. Now, more than ever, we need intentional spaces that elevate community voices, share evidence-based strategies, and inspire collective action. The Women’s Health Equity Symposium provides that space—bridging academia, policy, healthcare, and grassroots leadership to drive lasting change.
